Yes I'm still going, should be there for around 9am on saturday. Can lend you a tent if you like.

That'd be perfect smile.gif

I should arrive around noon if I take the earliest train on Sat morning.

I have to give it a miss.

It's just outside of my annual leave, and plus I'm having to request the extra days for the ashes thingy.

kooP- 10-17-2005
Right, just booked the train for Saturday. I arrive at Zolder at 12:22 but I'm not sure how look it takes to reach the track -- I'll probably turn up around 1-2 pm.
Not sure yet which train to take Sunday evening, there's one departing at 19:38 and another at 21:38. I think I'll take whichever is cheaper seeing as both arrive home at roughly the same time early Monday morning.

i dont know if you've been there before but its quite a walk between the entrance and the main paddock.

but i dont know how far it is between the station and the circuit.

i dont know if kris and me are going, but IF we go we might be able to pick you up or something. But first we'll have to find out wether the bus is faster or the car...

i'll let you know when kris and me are going to zolder too wink.gif smile.gif

I had a quick look at a map and it's about 8km to the track.
At Oschersleben it's roughly 4.5km / 40 mins, so I'm looking at a 90 min walk. No problem for me as I like a good ol' walk and it gives me time to pick up something to eat on the way.
That said, of course I wouldn't mind a taxi service tongue.gif, but I don't want to complicate your own plans plus I already feel like a dirty leech for borrowing Pete's tent.

EDIT: Just found a place that offers free tickets. Go to legendsspirit.com and fill in your details in the formular. You'll receive a mail which when printed out will get you a ticket (paddock included) in exchange on Sunday.

Hopefully see you all this weekend. Not sure where I'll be camping but I assume there's a patch of grass somewhere we can pitch on?

Make it up as you go along... avoid Rouen if you can though tongue.gif

Motaworld- 10-17-2005
Yeah if you see Rouen you've gone wrong tongue.gif

there's a lot of grass around, some of it will be used for parking, but most of it will stay empty, so you have enough room

dont know about cows though and perhaps angry farmers tongue.gif

Sounds like camping le-eau rouge at Spa hehe

Actually just after posting that I noticed an area on the trackmap marked camping, so assume that is the campsite tongue.gif

Apeman- 10-19-2005
dont trust the Belgian tongue.gif they're idoits

kooP- 10-19-2005
Got all tickets now, I decided to take the late train so I don't have to hurry, plus it involves spending most of the time in a cozy warm night train as opposed to shuffling about on curious Belgian stations for hours whilst waiting for the next ride tongue.gif

kooP- 10-19-2005
Right, I just learned there appears to be a free bus service between Hasselt and the circuit. I'm trying to find out where the buses depart so hopefully there's no need to pick me up smile.gif

Motaworld- 10-19-2005
Sounds perfect, see you there. I'll look for someone with a canon 20d, shouldn't be too hard to spot... lol
