The other thread seems to of vanished into the ethers, so I thought I'd create a new one smile.gif

Basically, some good news to all the workers out there - the monday after Knockhill is a bank holiday, so you don't have to organise a day off work or anything like that - woo! biggrin.gif

Graham- 06-28-2005
wooooo cant wait for this one

about the day off thing, that might apply to most jobs but not mine mad.gif sad.gif

Ellis- 06-28-2005
Duno where i'll be living so i duno how much traveling it would involve but i'll try and be there

Gav- 06-28-2005
Sim's elsewhere (refusing to go despite all known persuasion) so I guess this is easy once more. tongue.gif

Bank holiday doesn't effect me either way, due to the niceness that is summer holidays. biggrin.gif

Graham- 06-28-2005

Without meaning to take something personal and put in the public, i have no problem with sim or whereever he decides to go. Im sure if we did end up in the same place at the same time we could be civilised

There isn't going to be another AlphaF1 punch up is there? I don't want to have to come all the way to Knockhill to stand in between you guys and keep order....

Seriously though, I'd like to go, but it's a bit of a journey (you don't say!), and I've probably got something else on that weekend anyway!

Probably wouldn't work anyway, I'd keep falling over...

im up for this, job depending though. I believe there are plans to go karting or something?

Im just wondering if I would be allowed to do it as I will still be 16, no license and the most powerful thing ive driven is either a quad bike or mini moto

Gav- 06-30-2005
Karting is open to all for 16+, and there's junior karting for those who can't reach the wheel (of course it won't be at the same time though).

No licenses required, but it's not settled that we will be karting... if we can get some solid numbers, I guess we can look into booking in advance, as it'll be pretty busy during the holidays...

Graham- 07-01-2005
you should be alright matt, all they ask for is your money and for you to fill out a form saying you wont blame them if you die!!!!

if karting is too expensive we could go paint balling

villarule- 07-01-2005
I'll blame you Graham, as you are the one that seems to crash tongue.gif

Paint Balling would be cool too, im so stealth ph34r.gif

Gav- 07-01-2005
Well it needs decided, as both with be frightening popular at the moment, so we'll have to book ASAP.

I'd prefer karting.
