They're not going anywhere yet... there's a calander pencilled in if it gets the go-ahead though.

[^Pedersen_nr_50^]- 11-13-2005
I really hope they continue with this, cause that was extremly fun! saw it this afternoon and boy was it fun to see slicks, powerslides, locking up brakes, overtaking, big fat rearwheels..and offcourse all these old legends going for it again! poor Lafitte, hope´s he´s got better luck next time! *if*

biggrin.gif

as many has said, THIS is how F1 should be! smile.gif

I have to say that was great to watch and really entertaining to see nose to tail action like we have been screaming out for in f1 smile.gif

It was also good to hear murray and really showed how crap allen is despite me sticking up for him its undeniable that murray is 1000000 times more interesting to listen to smile.gif

Good win for nigel though and cant wait to see the series on tv again smile.gif

jre_f1- 11-13-2005
Well, that was bloody brilliant.

Absolutely amazing! I had a smile pinned from ear to ear for the whole race.

To see a mini-series next year would be superb, hopefully now a number of other drivers will think "yeah, thats for me".

Also Murray was superb as ever, inadvertently making James Allen look increasingly inadequate.

The pack racing was great, to see cars turn into a corner with another tucked up behind it was refreshing. F1 can learn some lessons, I mean, these cars are liek 13 seconds a lap slower or something, but in terms of entertainment, it was super. More please. biggrin.gif

Great race once it got going! Looked like a procession at first, but once they got the hurry on it was superb, some great battles!

J i m- 11-13-2005
Well I managed to bugger up my recording, I only got the first 15 laps.

Could anyone help me out with a download? Please don't suggest torrents, as I simply can not use them because they eat up all my bandwidth. I'm on a shared connection.

lgaquino- 11-13-2005
use torrents jim! ph34r.gif //runs

tongue.gif

yes indeed, they're using all my connection unsure.gif and by the way, dont send the tape Jim. sorry if you already mailed it, but i'll send it back and charge you for the shipment costs, ok? all the best!

other than torrent i *think* you could find in that software, what's the name? it's in the horse family...

Ellis- 11-13-2005
Using a decent client you can limit the up speed, down speed and ammount of connections

lgaquino, emule, i doubt it'll be on there?

lgaquino- 11-13-2005
there's everything there...i suppose in time it will be.

ClarkF1- 11-13-2005
I would have it on DVD by now, but I got an hour of black.

Darn TV card software didn't load properly and I was too busy downstairs enjoying it.

I think Mansell could have blitzed the field here, but he had 'the show' in mind, and kept it close on purpose, imo. [/rose tint]
Remember, Mansell had a problem with accepting easy wins. He always had to fabricate some kind of drama, if he walked a race - Silverstone 1991 anybody? biggrin.gif

Is Berger old enuff for this? be good if he was in it too. biggrin.gif

Muzza back on form too, even when he gaffes, he's class: "Mansell , Fittipaldi, & Patrese, draw up, line-a-breast..." blink.gif LOL. Quality.

J i m- 11-14-2005
Yeah quality podium biggrin.gif

Shame I only saw the processional bit sad.gif

Imo Fittapalid is a bloody hero, with all those pins in his back. To come back in like that, top driver. Reminded me of the good ol days in 1993 Emo v Nige in Indy Car.

Alan Jones..... roflmao! how un-australian can you get tongue.gif

lgaquino- 11-14-2005
gotta agree with mansell there, easy wins are so so boring.
whenever i'm "racing", i know it's not the same thing, i make mistakes or get bored when leading easily. in fact, i think second position is the best, cos you chase really really hard to guy ahead, just so you can be the leader ... then you get bored, spin and start all over again smile.gif

J i m- 11-14-2005
Yeah I always found when karting that when I'm I in the lead I don't push very hard, even when someone is bearing down on me. I just make it very hard for them to pass.

It's always better when you've got someone to chase, just as long as pass the chequerd flag in 1st, it doesn't really matter where you are on any other lap. I've won kart races on the last lap before.
