Nope!, your first answer counts... you're coming weather you want to or not, you no longer have a choice.

Tie him up and throw him in the back I'd say!

I've been doing some quoting ahead of tomorrows deadline.

Basing this on 11 people including the double dutch contingent smile.gif and Villarule.

Travel (uk) 9 people. For arguments sakes lets say 3 cars, 3 people per car. Each car would cost £60 return on the Dover/Calais crossing. So that's £20 each. Kris & Thony would be exempt from this since they'd be coming from Holland.

Campsite this info will be revised

getting there early would invole a surcharge, not sure how much, but we would split the cost in cash when we're there.

Track admission It looks to me that a weekend general admission costs £55

So to sum up, for those travelling in the uk convey the basic cost is £148 for Kris & Thony £161.

This does Not include petrol costs, We should all contribute towards that, the same goes for hypermarket costs. And ofcourse we all sort out our own travel insurance costs.

And we will have to discuss how we book, as it would be an unfair strain on one person to do all the booking, it needs to be split.

I think you got your campsite prices a bit wrong... so far as I can see most of them are in the 53 quid bracket on JT, and that's per car, so it would be less than 20 quid each for camping.

I think what you said to me on MSN is a good idea, to phone them up tomorrow and find out.

J i m- 10-30-2005
Yes... I think we'l revise this tomorrow after calling them up rolleyes.gif

I thought I was automatically on the list earlier! I'm in anyway.

I suggest you look at Speed ferries - they have some very good deals, and it's very cheap if you book in advance. They go to Boulogne, but the crossing is a lot quick than Dover/Calais on Seafrance or P&O.

If you go Dover/Calais you need to allow plenty of time coming back too, as when I went through Calais, the passport control is over there now, and not at Dover. You can get some pretty serious traffic jams as you go into the port.

We discovered speedferries a little too late last year as we'd already booked our crossing on P&O. Prices are good at £50 return but they don't have many crossings so obviously arn't quite as flexible. P&O's prices have come down of late so we'll see what gives the best deal in a few months time.
