you guys don't know how lucky you are to be able to go to such events mad.gif

Right guys, we're going to have to hurry up.

---------------------------Edit/delted previous dribble.

All the campsites are very nearly sold out, and it's been a bit of a brain teaser sorting it out.

I've taken the liberty of booking 3 sites on Campsite/layby blue. I had to book 6 track addmission tickets with that. Now working on the asumption that we have 3 people per car and the people most certain of coming (ie the people most certianly IN:)

this leaves 2 people needing to buy a track addmission ticket (3 if our empty seat is filled) at the gate. We have 1 empty seat. Which I guess at this time, Villarule seems the most likely to take that up if he wants it. If he is unable to take that seat, it will be first come first served.

---------------------
Right the Campsite cost.

Each car cost £58. Working on the 3 per car asumption that is £19.30 each + £55 for track addmission (3 people will need to either buy at the gate or order their own) so Campsite and track tickets costs £74.30 each.

The Ferry is likely to cost between £50-£60 (return ticket) which is £15-£20 each. The ferry is not booked yet, one of us will sort that out at a later date.

So basically the key basics are under £100.
I'll allocate the 6 track admission tickets on a first come first serve basis (amongst those confirmed already tongue.gif, so no wise tricks) Obviously I take one of those, so that's 5 remaining.

This booking has put £511 on my debit card, which is a bit more than i anticipated spending this close to christmas, but I don't want us to miss the boat. No worries, I can be flexible as to when each person sends their share to me.
---------------------

Kris & Thony, I considerd booking a site for your car. But I was unable to do this as I can not be sure you will be coming. We'd all be delighted to see you, but I advise you act fast, like now and book your site, because there are very limited places available.. there are only 4 tickets available on our campsite now, and those are likely to go quickly.

Well, it's looking like I'll have to sit this one out, but put me down for the one after.

There's always a chance we could squeeze you in as well as Villarule. We're working on the 3 per car assumption for comfort and storage space. But things like that we can deal with easily in the time we have.

We just needed to book the campsites, because they were running out at an alarming rate. So apolgies to anyone who felt pressured by my deadline etc, but it was nessacary.

villarule- 10-31-2005
I can afford it, and I think im early enough to book the time off. I'm about 75%, I just dont want to say a defo yes so early, sorry about that, I just dont like letting people down.

J i m- 10-31-2005
The good news is that the deadline and hurry up remarks no longer apply smile.gif Because the camping panic is over for the time being.

So there is a little more time to contemplate everything else.

No problem. Couldn't expect you to book a site for us while it's very uncertain if we (read: I) can make it at all.

It's 99.9% certain I wont be able to get to Le Mans before Thursdaynight/Friday. And I don't even know if I get the Friday off from work if there are problems. If Le Mans was one week later or sooner there wouldn't be any problem sad.gif

Maybe I can give'm a call and try the move the date for the race tongue.gif

Nothing's pencilled in, but a close friend who's living in Nepal at the moment is coming back sometime in June so I want to keep it free and not commit to anything.

Plus with other possible family commitments, June is looking very busy for me.

It's a definite NO I'm afraid. sad.gif

When ever you can smile.gif

villarule- 11-01-2005
How would paying by installments be Jim? It'd help me save my spending money and be quicker to pay because I dont have to save for it all.
