Okay. I know there's already a Le Mans thread. But I think this is nessacary to help us move forward with the oragnisation.

To move forward now we really need a firm idea of who's coming, and how many of us are going, so we can get on with sorting out how many cars's we'l be taking as a group, and campsite passes etc.

The key core things that are certain atm:

Uk travellers: We leave on Tuesday 13 June. (meet at Pete's and make way to Dover)
We travel back on Monday 19 June.

We will be using the Dover-Calais ferry crossing.

Kris + Thony can meet the group at somewhere like Normandy (or where ever we visit) or actually at the campsite.

QUOTE
Approximate cost of travel + accomdation i,e the ferry fee, and the campsite fee, plus the track addmission ticket is £150, this does not include spending money, petrol money, travel insurance etc.

We all chip in with petrol expenses (weather you are a passenger or not tongue.gif), and the same goes for food/hypermarket expenses. It's not all that much split between us

You don't need your own car, as it's possible to arrange transport to Maidstone with others, eg if you're in Scotland/Ireland get a flight to either Stansted/Luton/Gatwick and either myself/Mike/Pete could pick you up.

Some people might have spare tents available, cooking equipment whilst desirable, is not compulsary as it wouldn't be a problem to borrow someone elses, plus we'l probably stock up on disposable bbq's from the hypermarket as well etc

--------------------------------------------------------

So if you're coming, Opt in here. The list shall be updated regulary with the people who opt in.

if you really want to come, but miss our deadline, you're risking being left out of the plans, but we really need to get some things sorted instead of just general chitter chatter on the forum.

Deadline Monday 31'st October 2005

Same as Kris......it'll depend on my financial situation nearer the time.

Plan as if I'm not going and I'll sort myself out travel-wise if I can.

Put me down for 2007 definitely.

Kris, that's no problem, as persuambly you guys are sorting out your transport yourselves, and we could always save you some campsite if you'd book the same as us.

Sorry to pressure some of you guys. I fully understand not being able to commit. Because I only knew for certain if I could go last time a couple of weeks before we went. Not for fianacial reasons but work.

But this is nessacary, because if we leave things much longer, we risk there bing didly squat available.

I do have a meeting with my account manager today at the bank.

If he won't give me any money, I'll play the sympathy card.
