BTW I think we/my parents also have a gazebo lying around somewhere, unless the one I'm thinking of is the one my bro trashed when he was on Holiday... In that case we dont have one tongue.gif

yup, i trashed it alright biggrin.gif but we can always ask Wendy if we car borrow theirs, but i think its a better idea to buy a new one, cause the one Wendy has is... well... CRAP tongue.gif

I have one but its just getting it down to whoever or wherever we meet, its quite good as it has sides to protect from the sun

Indeed, don't think they're that expensive too.

Wouldn't be a problem, if I picked you up from Mk central or where ever.

If there's anymore attendees than there was last year then I think it's rude to expect to stay at Pete's as there was loads of us in there this year and we really violated the living room for an afternoon and night. I would say for the extra cost, it may be wise to book into a travelodge or something, you can usually get £26 rooms if you book online.

ClarkF1- 10-26-2005
I live in South-West London.....

Got a spare room now my sister has left.....could sleep a couple of people (one on the floor), plus a sofa-bed.

Not guaranteed but I can ask my folks nearer the time if you want.

J i m- 10-26-2005
Yes.

We're panning to go a day earlier, and a sleep over is not in the plans, or really on the cards atm.

Incidentally, we're getting to the stage now, that we really need a firm idea of who is going to come so we get and with planning and organising some of the more important things like, campsites, cars, passes etc.

villarule- 10-26-2005
Id love to come. I could probably afford it this year. I have everything I need already (except passport, how long does that take, and is it free? Mine ran out in June).

But the only way I could guarrente being able to come is if by some chance I pass my test and get a car, which doesnt seem to be a defo by then, but i'll do my best.

Motaworld- 10-26-2005
Passports cost £42 to renew and take a few weeks to arrive normally. I'm sure someone could give you a lift down here if you do decide to come, meaning you won't need a car of your own.

It seems the motorway linking Rouen and Alencon has finally been finished, appearently opened today. Hopefully this means we won't have to go along the 138 with all it's lorries, roundabouts and general annoyingness smile.gif

Yes that would be a bonus. That road lasted for ever on the way there and was extremely annoying on the way back. We had a lucky miss in Nicks car... excellent driving to be honest to avoid a head on collision with a truck.

Why that truck couldn't have backed of a smidgen to let us finish our overtake on the truck ahead of us... we gawd knows. Bloomin French Drivers... loonies the lot of them tongue.gif

Hope I'll that new road programmed into my sat nav when i get one.
