Ducati didnīt expect that much from the race at Bahrain due to the problems Bridgestone had to deliver. They had severe issues while testing there before and having this in mind Capirossis qualifying performance was sensational. As it turned out the race result was somewhat expected.

a speed differential of 45 kph is pretty dam crazy.... not to mention dangerous.....and 6 seconds off the pace......

amazing how fast ducati are are...12 kph faster...and as gav said... it's not really due to setup, comes down to engine.
