look at the WCM top speed

Mercedes- 09-29-2005
Wonder what settings Checa is running, must be dead slow in the corners? And Blata, no comments.

Rgds,

doubt it considering hes 5th fastest also that top speed is not surprising considering the Ducati has the higest topspeed ever recorded at barcellona faster even then the f1 cars

Gav- 09-29-2005
I presume he just got a lucky gust of wind or something... there's not much you can do on a bike to affect to speed, short of using significantly different parts... it's not like you can just lob off 20 degrees of spoiler...

Ducati have apparently reverted back to their old train of thought - maximising the bike's strengths, rather than trying to hide the weaknesses... but that shouldn't make more than a kph or 2 to the top end...

WOW! WCM really improved their topspeed..

lucazade- 09-30-2005
wow wcm really are slow compared to the others. How can they attract sponsors when they are that slow?!

Checa was still right up on his top speed so he must be having some luck with that wind......

Lol, Sete really has fallen to pieces hasn't he?

Plus a very bad day for Capirossi.

lucazade- 10-01-2005
yea what happened to caporossi as he just seemed to go backwards but still finished?

My bet is on mechanical as you dont pass a ducati down the straight with ease!!

Sete really has lost form but hopefully for his and everyone who likes the sete/valentino battles he will be back to winning ways (or at least on podium) soon smile.gif

Ducati had an abnormal tyre wear at the rear makeing the bike undrivable
seems that the bridgestones had problems on longdistance seeing that the other teams using them had to pit to change rear tire
