Wellington boots!

THe rubber kind footwear for you to walk in the wet or muddy tracks/paths.

If I go to uni next year, or if it falls in a holiday, I'm coming with you Bigears - wanted to go last year too, but it was never gonna happen...

sasjag- 05-10-2005
i'd be up for coming as well tbh!

i should have posted this here really, but i didnt think about it. A website project i am involved in had constant hourly or so, updates throughout the race

It was also the last race for the Falken Nissan Skyline. They are however determined to come back with a new car next year -- if we're lucky they take Tanaka's Porsche 996 he's driving in the Super Taiku League and which already took part in a 24 hour race and turn it into something resembling Alzen's Alien Porsche.

I've finally sifted through my recordings and did two more videos. The first is the entire first lap (12 mins), the other is the last lap from about Hohe Acht till two minutes after the finish (7 mins). Problem is I can't upload them anywhere because they're 84 and 62 mb. If anybody knows a place where I can share them let me know smile.gif

Gav- 05-12-2005
If you can get them to me, I'll stick them up.

kooP- 05-12-2005
That'd be great smile.gif

I can try sending them over MSN later, but that doesn't work every time for some reason...

just a small question about the nurburgring, something ive noticed in real life and on gran turismo 4.

when driving round ive seen writing on the road, is this some sort of tribute to people have been killed over the years or random german vandals tongue.gif

kooP- 05-29-2005
Most of them are done by people supporting their drivers/ car makes. Kinda like the LAAAAANCE writings at the Tour de France wink.gif

Anyone still interested in these? I can upload them now I've got my own webspace.

I would love to see the video footage you got!

Ok then, here's the start. It includes the last bit of the pace lap (pace lap 2 actually because the track was deemed unsafe due to the heavy rain at the end of the first pace lap, so they ended up spending another 20 mins behind the safety car), the starts of the three groups, Alzen having trouble with his Biturbo Porsche and the rest of lap 1. Check out the sound as the cars drive down Döttinger Höhe cool.gif
