Stock Car Brazil makes history going for the first time outside Brazilian borders to race at the D shaped oval in Buenos Aires.

An extremely action-packed race won by Giuliano Losacco, who tightened the fight for the championship to only 23 points away from Cacá Bueno, who had a DNF after going to a tyre change (you'll see how his tyre got during the clip).

Some nice accidents, spins, off tracks and overtaking manouvers await those who dare downloading this 30MB file.

I consider this my very best highlight clip ever.

PS: I have no idea of the name of the background song... I just know it's Italian... lol... If anyone knows...

Here's the vid:

Ahhh, proper touring cars biggrin.gif

Looks like an exciting series, shame there's no coverage over here.

Oh yeah... no doubt about that. Stock car is the pinnacle of motorsport in Brazil. It gathers around 40,000 people at racing circuits wherever it goes.

The races are always like that: chases, spins, overtaking, crashes.

You won't believe me if I tell you that we had 22 cars within the same 0.5s during qual and 33 cars in the same second.

This is what makes Stock Car so great: all cars are absolutely equal (apart from the exterior, that may be the shell of a Mitsubishi Lancer or a Chevrolet Astra). Engines are all equal and sealed and distributed randomly before the racing weekend.

Plus young and determined drivers driving alongside some well known guys such as Luciano Burti (Number 14 Yellow/white Eurofarma car, who started 34th and finished 3rd), Christian Fittipaldi (Number 55 orange/Black Terra/Vivo car), who started on pole and later had that multiple cars spining all around with him on front.

If you wanna watch it, sign Globo International tongue.gif

i second everything he said. even if i'm not a huge touring car fan.

The only set back is that you will have to put up with a certain Mr Bueno (father of the cacá bueno, the driver who's leading the championship) who can challenge james allen in pretty much every area! mad.gif
