Cars to move to different series? NASCAR's game plan for the 2007 car of the future is slowly becoming clearer. When the new, larger car is phased in in 2007, the current Nextel Cup cars would become Busch tour cars, and the current Busch cars (which have a smaller 105-inch wheelbase than the 110-inch Cup cars) will become part of a new Grand National series in Mexico, Canada, the Western U.S., and possibly England, according to NASCAR sources.(Winston Salem Journal)(10-8-2005)

OMG!
I think afew of those ideas are great for driver safety. But you gotta have front & rear body facias for each Manufacture. Other wise it's IROC with Stickers... That Splitter is such a stupid idea. Catch the apron, wall or another car and your race is over if you lose that downforce. The bumpers are not effecting the aero, is the fenders. The cars today are abit too aero dependent -------------------- "With racing...it's life. Anything that happens before or after, is just waiting." - Michael Delaney (Steve McQueen, Le Mans).

![]() I thought it was Dodge (grill & lights)...!? -------------------- "With racing...it's life. Anything that happens before or after, is just waiting." - Michael Delaney (Steve McQueen, Le Mans).

Uh, thats charger lights and appears to be a charger grill (compare it to the picutre of the light coloured car i posted - thats an Petty charger). The shape looks like a Dodge to me to, so im going to say thats a charger.
But why would Toyota base there car on anything? They have no links to GM or Dodge, so why would they had out cars for Toyota? They would have to build there own, just like the others did. To me, thats a dodge, in Nextel colours. -------------------- ![]() |

Actually no, wait. Thats not a dodge grill. The dodge grill is lower, its the same basic shape as a dodge grill but is much higher on the car. There definatly Dodge Charger lights tho.
It could be a chevy shape, but why would it have dodge lights on it? Wouldnt it have Toyota lights? Since its painted in Nextel colours you could say its just there generic show car? -------------------- ![]() |

Well... if they were to base it on something then Dodge it would be.
As Bill Davis Racing gave Toyota help (data) with the Tundra CTS resulting in BDR loosing factory support & further data. Ahh... maybe I got the the grill wrong. Wasnt going by the race car but road car. This is the 2006 road grill: -------------------- "With racing...it's life.
