If you read the article in autosport, where I assume this comes from originally, its more that he is resigned to not being in the WRC because none of the top works teams (is that just 2 next year? - i'm not very up to date) are offering him a drive.
The overall impression in the article is positive and he wants to get back to rallying. He is angry with the team bosses for choosing kids who have won nothing over him. Very different from being a psychological wreck who cant take it anymore. This is just the general press putting a negative spin on things cos bad news is much more yummy than good news. |
